Used this for the first time today and I was amazed (and ashamed) how filthy the waste water was. A full tank of hot water did my large rug but I will obviously need to clean it again soon to get it properly clean. The machine was noisy however it was very effective. Very pleased with the results and my little machine which can be stored anywhere.

Just the job for stairs and little emegencies.

Used for 1st time, it was brilliant did exactly what it was supposed to. Cleaned a very dirty rug until it looked like brand new . Definitely recommend

I recently have a puppy and needed a cleaner space is limited so an upright was not an option. I spent a good time doing my research and looking at reviews and YouTube tutorials on them and found the spot cleaner to be a perfect fit. It’s more powerful than the other brands I looked at. The motorised head was a main feature as no other cylinder cleaner has this. After using it for a couple of weeks it’s money well spent. On spills your able to suck the spill up and then go ahead and clean it. You can turn the motorised head off and just have it normal which is great especially for more delicate areas ie sofas etc… hope this review helps someone else as these items are a considered purchase. But when I had weighed up how many bottle of a branded spot cleaner I had purchased over the last few months I should of purchased this earlier.

Amazing!… living in a flat it’s difficult to store all of these gadgets, however this rug doctor is reasonably sized and makes such a difference to the carpet! I tested it on a carpet runner and it took less than 5 minutes and looks good as new. I then got carried away and used it on the carpet in two bedrooms and they look so much better. Hardly takes any effort and it came with a small spot cleaner solution. My mum has already asked to borrow it!

Really good machine. Easy to use and great for balancing on stairs. Water goes down quickly depending on size of stain.

happy with performance on carpet, however not as effective on my headboard
