Very helpful for cooking for various things when the main cooker is occupied

I bought this as a stand in when the glass on our convection hob was cracked in an accident. Ordered it late afternoon and it was delivered before midday the very next day. Really surprised by the quality for £29! Our hob is now fixed but we’re reluctant to give up this little gem. Just make sure you temper it before the first use - super quick and easy to do!

Cooker was not working and we are in lock down. So this was my go to. I ordered this and it arrived the next day. Delivery was super and time slot was given. I will use this till I can get a cooker delivered and fitted in. In the meantime I will continue cooking my curries and pastas on my new hob. Beats up really quick and easy to use. I recommend everyone have one just in case .

I ordered this as we were in the middle of a kitchen renovation, then the world went crazy and supply chains for the new units have all broken down, and we've had enough of only using a microwave for the past nine weeks. This seems to be a decent product for thirty quid. It heats up quickly enough and we've had a couple of stir frys where it has heated a big wok of veg. If I was being critical, I would say that the heated plates aren't insulated from the rest of the unit, so the whole of the top of the device starts to heat up when cooking on one of them. I would also like some kind of visual indicator to show that the unit is hot, if you've just turned the heat off. (There is a light which shows when it's heating up) Having said this, it's thirty quid so you can't expect too much, and you should always be exercising care around cooking equipment which gets hot. I'm happy with this and would recommend this as a short term replacement, or occasional additional capacity, for your main hob. Rating: Five dogs out of five!

Finding ourselves with no kitchen facilities due to builders starting then stopping our kitchen renovations due to coronavirus Im delighted to have this to use as a temporary cooker in our makeshift kitchen which is really our study. It’s been a godsend and works brilliantly. It was so reasonably priced I thought it would be shoddy but it’s actually very well made and sturdy. It’s very simple to use and I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone.
