Slightly heavier than my last kettle

This was a perfect buy, we were using one of those One Cup kettle's and had got used to that but after our second purchase of one of those we always felt we were being short changed by the amount of hot water it produced for a single cup of coffee, you either got less than enough or more than enough never the right amount and also the coffee seemed to go cold quickly so decided to go back to a normal electric kettle and we are so pleased with this Buckingham. This kettle was not only one of the cheapest available but one of the best looking ones. It boils quickly and a lot quieter than we expected, has a nice blue light and most of all gives us a longer lasting hot coffee/tea and more than our usual sometimes pitiful efforts given by the One Cup we previously had. Finally we whole heartedly recommend this kettle as a very good purchase proving that sometimes cheap can surprise you and given it's price, looks and usability we love it!
