Had this for 5 months and it has been great. I removed the red plastic filler guide and spout filter before use, and haven't had a problem with any plastic taste. Very quick to boil and much quieter than our previous kettle. No leaks!

This is my second purchase of this kettle. My first one was very reliable but got damaged in my house move. I didn't hesitate to replace with the same. I find it boils quickly and much quieter than others I have owned. It's easy to clean and looks good.

Stylish, good price. Rapid boil. Bit noisy

The kettle boils quickly and turns off fairly promptly when it reaches boiling point. The most remarkable thing about the kettle is how quiet it is - disconcerting at first because you think that it is not heating the water. As well as the windows on both sides to see the water level, there are three red tags inside the kettle ostensibly to show one, two and three cups, but since they slide up and down they do seem rather pointless. The kettle body, but not the base, is made of metal, which minimises the use of plastic.

Bought this as a replacement for the same model which had got taken over with lime scale. Very happy with the product’s performance and will be keeping better care of this one!

Super kettle, does exactly what it says on the box....and I must say very quietly.

A Which? Best Buy and well deserved. Feels sturdy, quick to boil and easy to get the quantity right. Only quibble is the slow auto switch-off.
