Fabulous kettle, the filter really makes a huge difference. Clean lime free water available very very quickly.

Good looking kettle that seems solidly built. Basically the same as the non filter model but with a removable insert. This means that if you decide you've had enough of filters (or get scared of boiling plastics) you can just use it as a normal kettle. The filter does seem to really work - no scum and tea tastes much more 'tea-ey'. It takes about 20 seconds to run through. One fill is enough for a large mug of tea, so we tend to refill it after use. The blue light is quite subtle and not too in-your-face. It's not a noisy kettle, I'd say on the quieter side of average. Overall very happy with it.

This kettle is like no other, it makes the water taste so pure its unbelievable but it is . Makes a great tea or coffee you can actually taste the tea or coffee instead of chemicals in the water . Also great if you just had a baby and dont want limescale in the water you use to make up the bottles with. The filters are easy and cost effective as you dont need to change it till the all of the bars have gone on the filter screen as it shows you . The kettle has a lovely blue light which is helpful in the dark . Plus you can see the water which helps . I would recommend anyone too buy this

This is the second Russell Hobbs filter kettle that we have owned, the first being a plastic casing. This glass version seems very well made, boils quickly, pours well and water level is readily apparent. Pleased with the purchase.

Read some reviews and decided to try out this kettle. Water tastes a lot better after boiling. True some comments said it takes a bit long to fill under the tap and it also leaves some water on the base after boiling. For me, the pro outweigh the cons.

In my opinion, this kettle delivers optimum tasting hot beverages filtering out all the nasty chlorine and additives found in tap water. It is also an attractive and well made kettle and is the second one I have bought in the last five years.

Fab kettle and very stylish boils very quickly as a britta filter system for a nicer cuppa very quick to fill allows 4 cups at a time and lights up when on and as a nifty indicator on the top to let u no when to replace filter haven’t had it that long so don’t know how long it will be before filter needs replacing states monthly I suppose it how often you use it highly recommended beautiful piece of kitchen bling

Bought this fantastic kettle . It not only looks good with the little blue lights lighting up when it is switched on, it boils rapidly and with the added Brita filter, we now receive lovely tasting water for our well earned coffees or teas.
