Evenly toasts slices of bread, albeit takes a little longer than most. Taller slices will not fit in completely and tops of bread will not get toasted & the slots do not operate independently. Left side has to be pushed down first then the right will go down. However this is not a big deal as usually toasting 4 bread at a go. Also has the defroster and re-heat functions plus a cancel button. Cleaning is pretty easy too. Have had it for 3 weeks now and no issues.

So we wanted a new toaster as we are having a new kitchen and the old toaster wasn't the right colour. So we looked and decided to buy this one all I can say is good choice. It looks good, it works well and what else would you want from it.

Great Toaster...works well, love the lift up function. 2 Small draw backs. To use the right side you need to be using the left side...you cannot use the left side independently It has to be turned quite high to get dark coloured toast. easy to clean, and takes large slices of bread

Decided to replace our old toaster. (One of the expensive ones.) Thought to give this one a try as we have a matching kettle. Excellent even toast Really good machine. Don't waste money on expensive, toasters.

Lovely toaster, matches the kettle we also brought perfectly. Needs to be on quite a high setting number to make toast, rather than warm breas and one side is a little tempremental and doesn't always work first time.
