Toasts things really well and evenly spread as expected but considering the size of the toaster, a normal sized slice of bread doesn't fit in it either standing up or on its side, meaning you either cut some of the bread off or toast twice?

The toaster looks lovely in my kitchen, good quality and it’s great to toast 4 slices at a time.
