I bought the LG 55" because my sight is not good and my old 32" set was impossible to read captions, etc. The LG is better but, as with all smart TVs it's not simple to get the setup as one might prefer witnout extra guidance. The down.oaded manual tyically tells you what theremote buttons do but not how to decide the changes you need to make to get want to achieve.

Replacement for previous Sony, but not as good. Needed an TV with centre stand (to fit on cabinet) and found majority of TVs now have legs right on outside so was rather limited on choice. Easy to set up but found the sound drops in and out compared to previous TV, prob should’ve got a sound bar too. Would’ve also preferred ‘normal’ remote as even after few weeks of using find it very jumpy, so option to disable that feature would be better. However, ok tv for the price and quick delivery.

Amazing product for the price and the colours are vibrant and the picture is of a good quality. The sound is not the best (but good enough for a medium sized room), but the tv easily connected to my sound bar. I am very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend it.

Bought this tv to replace a decade old lg plasma and a 1080p upscaling satellite box. I'm very happy with it. Freeview, freesat and smart channels, wifi & bluetooth it's got everything. Upscaling channels to 4k is very good, hdr gaming and 4k content playback via usb is excellent. Pros. Almost everything. Cons. No off switch, always on standby. Minor niggles. Remote control cursor is jittery even on the slow setting, doesn't appear to have a permanently off option. DTV guide always starts on the next programme, not the one being watched. Very pleased with my purchase overall ?
