I bought this to replace a 6 year cheap air fryer, the glass bowl type with a halogen element in the lid
The first thing you notice about the ninja is the good build quality, a lot of metal and the few plastic parts look like they would outlast the metal.
Using it is really simple, choose cooking method, preheat, add the food, adjust temp and cooking time of you need to and that’s it. It is a little noisy, but nothing bad, it produces little or no smells, parts are easy to clean and the ceramic coating makes them non stick.
You will need to experiment a little with temperatures and cooking times, the guidelines in the booklets are a good start though. The grill fiction is by far my favourite, burgers, steaks and chicken kebabs come out tasty and juicy. This will be a godsend in the colder months when the outdoor bbq isn’t an option.
In conclusion, it is a good piece of kit, a little expensive but you get what you pay for, in this case high build quality, consistent results and hopefully reliability (only time will tell though).
My only concern is the small size, it is big enough for a family of 3, 4 at a push. It does not support stacking up different foods, so beware if you expect a cavernous cooking appliance.
