I'm torn with this machine. At the higher settings I don't think it is any quieter or more effective than a traditional bladed fan. However, at low settings it is quieter. A few days ago, when we were suffering very warm nights, while it didn't cool the room, when set low, to blow cool air directly across the bed, it did enable us to get some sleep we otherwise wouldn't have had. My advice is to moderate your expectations of what you think this fan can do and you may well be satisfied.

Really good quality fan, quiet qt high speed, moves air effectively. Makes the room feel much cooler

Very impressed with my Dyson fan. So glad I got it before this hot spell we’re having. Just love it!

Really impressed with my new Dyson fan, super quiet compared to the standard blade type fans so haven’t had my sleep disturbed. Great having 10 settings on it too, perfect no matter how warm it gets.

This is the next best thing to air conditioning, it's such a good fan, and it doesn't take up too much space. We love the design of it, and the fact that you have a remote control that allows you to adjust the temperature from the comfort of your bed, is brilliant!!! We can't praise it enough!

Pricey but very good ??

This is a really well made piece of equipment that in the current humidity is a great purchase.
