Just save yourself the hassle - don't buy a Beko. EVER!

I bought this F/F in Feb-21 from AO. Can't fault AO but Beko have a lot to answer for! The unit failed in just under two years - no coolant it turned out later. So out of warranty I contacted Beko for a service visit, paid £165 (including up to £250 of spares fitted free) and then it just got worse. The first engineer wasn't qualified to regas F/Fs so I waited another week, the second engineer regassed the unit but didn't fit the compressor that I had been told was also needed. The unit failed again within 24 hours at which point Beko did everything to avoid contact. I had to chase them - their 'contact centre' can't make outbound calls (?!?) and no-one tells you what is happening. Eventually I got a third visit booked for another week later. By 3pm that day I hadn't heard anything and phoned them to be told that there was no visit and that they had decided to write-off the unit and refer it to my insurers (I don't have insurers?!?) At this point I decided to buy a new unit (not Beko obvs) and I am still £165 out of pocket. Crucially all this took over a month. Just save yourself the hassle - don't buy a Beko... and I mean EVER buy ANYTHING from Beko!
