Delighted with my new dishwasher
5/5
I never thought I could be so in love with a dishwasher! Not to go into the nightmare experience with a certain Swedish furniture store's repair service, our 12 month old integrated dishwasher failed and this Beko dishwasher was bought to replace it.
Thankfully it fitted in the narrower space I had for the integrated dishwasher perfectly, just 2mm narrower than the normal size made all the difference. The set up was easy enough, used the dip test strip to discover the water hardness and set the dial. Not sure how that adjustment makes a difference but wow, running it for the first time took the stains right out of the plastic sandwich boxes, they were like new! I've soaked them in bleach and never got them this clean!
I love how versatile it is. The cutlery basket can be moved into many places around the bottom rack and I love the fact you can close the plate racks down to get a flat base for large pots and pans. The top rack also moves up and down to allow for bigger plates and the knife rack on the top is inspired. I swear I've managed to fit twice as much in this dishwasher than our last one. It washes and dries really well. I like the number of programs available, especially the 30 min wash. I believe it uses less electric to run too, I can't accurately talk about that, but watching my electric consumption compared to last month, it is actually lower. The dishwasher came with sample of Finish dishwasher tablets - game changer, my dishes are sparkling with these tablets and I don't have to prewash or rewash burnt on food so I'm happy to make them a regular purchase.
Trying my hardest to think of something I didn't like about this dishwasher - hubby says he's disappointed he can't connect his phone to it. What you'd really need that for, I don't know!
