British wasn't best this time.
3/5
I bought this Belling oven as my previous one lasted 17 years, plus it was British made and not the run of the mill Chinese stuff.
How wrong I was, the difference between the build quality of my old oven and this new one was phenomenal, knobs very cheap and hard to turn to start with. To be frank it was a pity that I couldn't have had the old one refurbished. On top of this it didn't work! I have had to go through the motions of ordering a new oven (different make) and thankfully AO have been brilliant and sorted everything else out free, apart from charging delivery which I thought was a bit of a cheek, but hey, they aren't charging reinstallation which they failed at first time round and I had to get another engineer to fit my original purchase. All sorted hopefully in the next few days. Avoid Belling if you can, the top oven, which did work, is as slow as a snail to heat up, which, in my mind means it uses more electric.
