This is small and compact, just what I wanted. I prefer a cylinder cleaner as they are lighter to move around. Great to use on different surfaces.

The Bosch cleaner is compact, but sturdy yet lightweight. It's appearance belies the power inside, it certainly packs a punch with clearing the carpet (and flooring) of dust and dog hairs. I haven't had it long, so can't comment on its longevity, but if it lives up to the Bosch name for good quality, I'll be well pleased.
