    An oven to cook with.

It does what it says on the tin. Much improved on a similar model we had before. The full width grill is a plus and a good size cabinet is ideal. The clock is very visible and the overall appearance of the oven is good.

    Not worth the money

I had this oven for 11 months and I would not recommend it. First, the handle gets really hot - I measured it to be between 50c and 60c with my multimeter temperature probe with the gas setting at 7, while the ambient temperature is around 20c. Second, it smelled liked burnt plastic for most of these 11 months whenever in use. Last, the temperature knob has the numbers at the bottom, which forces you to lean down to see which gas setting was actually selected. I did have Belling come out with an engineer to check. He concluded that there were no faults with the oven and that it was installed correctly. He said that British Standards allow the oven handles to be 60c plus ambient, meaning it can get up to 70-80c on a regular autum/spring day. The problem of the hot handle seems to be caused by the air vent to be in front of the handle, so as hot air blows out, the handle gets hot within minutes. Poor design! Overall, for £429, I expected it not to have these poor design decisions.

    Amazing Product

The slide in oven was just what l wanted, our old one was fan assisted which l couldn’t get to grips with. The new one from AO was a conventional oven, which l didn’t think existed any longer. Works like a dream, wish l had discovered it sooner.

After ordering and receiving this product I'm finally satisfied. It took a month all in all. Went through an absolute nightmare as the oven was damaged when arrived, had it installed and I had so many problems from, burnt grill element smoking, panels damaged,no starter kit, damaged seals when you shut the oven I finally got through to lovely helpful man who arranged for another one to be delivered and guess what the back panel was damaged very slightly by this point I had enough and just got it installed and it's a brilliant oven and grill. Please check when delivered even though visually it looks fine when you start unwrapping was the problem. You won't regret it.Thank you John.
