Sturdy construction. I have purchased cheaper blenders in the past (£30-40ish) and they always break, this one feels more solid. I like the fact it has 2 sizes of blending containers. The blades themselves are easy to remove and clean. This was able to blend cooked onions and crushed tomatoes very easily for a pasta sauce

I got this blender mainly for making ice cream and it has not disappointed. It easily crushes ice and, depending on which program you use, blends everything I have put in it very smoothly, only very very rarely leaving any chunks. It is very powerful and though a little more expensive than I would have liked, has been well worth the investment, is easy to maintain, and definitely outperforms a vitamix.
