I got this as we live in a hard water area. Hopefully it will help with the limescale. Don't know how it works or if it is actually working so will keep fingers crossed, but worth a go as limescale is pretty bad here.

Very happy with my machine. It's a great size for a family with 2 adult sons. Washes very well. Timer function useful as is eco cycle as you can time it to finish first thing in the morning . Think the cleaning drum function will be useful particularly as it reminds you when to use it. Haven't had machine long enough to use idrum cleaning yet so can't comment on how good it is. And it plays a jolly little tune when it's finished. What not to like!

It took me a little while to explore all the possibilities available with this machine. It it the best washing machine I have ever had. The technology far outweighs anything I have ever encountered. The programs are flexible and am getting to know which to use for my preferences. I researched a number of different manufacturers latest technologies before I purchased and I am so pleased that I decided to stick with my trusted brand. I have recommended this machine already to all those people I know, both family and friends.

My previous Smeg machine lasted almost a decade and I consider this good performance in this day and age, so I was confident in buying another. Although an AEG model was technically comparable but cheaper, I think I've made the right decision. This updated machine is a little quieter and has a wider choice of programs. I particularly like the "countdown timer" telling you how long until the washing program ends.

Good idea if it prolongs the life of the machine especially if you live in a hard water area

only just fitted it in so time will tell how this product will protect my new candy washing machine

Too early to pass judgement on its efficiency but the fitting was easy.
