    Looks and works great

    5/5
There aren't many cookers in this size range and I think this one looks the best by far. The hardware seems really durable and I'm enjoying using it. It arrived on time and the team were really friendly. The old model I replaced had a second oven which is the only downside.

    Extremely Disappointed

    1/5
Purchased the Smeg C7GPX9 end of Sep 2020. I did not take extra insurance as I didn’t think it necessary. It’s only 4 years old and last year had a a faulty door lock and after the engineer left had a broken gas knob. Since August this year it’s had a new element and needs a new power board at the back which I have now waited for for 3 weeks from Smeg. As it’s all automated nothing works without the power board. Why Oh why can thing not be made to last, as least for 5 years given the pride of it. I would buy this make again.

    Looks good, poor build quality.

    3/5
Cooks well, but the metal is quite flimsy and I had to tighten lots of screws as they were all loose. I just hope that they’ve tightened the screws internally. Really quite disappointed by the build quality, not what I was expecting. It also rattles a lot - makes for a noisy cooking experience. I have an air fryer that makes less noise! I’ll be fixing it to the wall and ensuring there are no gaps to stop or at least reduce the rattling. The unit is very attractive if that helps.

    Quality and good looks

    4/5
Quality item. Bought to fit 700mm gap and available power supply, 15amp. Oven control a bit too complicated for my liking, does too many things. Gas burners are very effective. Controls could be better illuminated as they are vertical with the symbols a bit too low and difficult to see, I'm tall and old. The gas pipe connection type and location is different to every other cooker I've had which meant having it altered as well as connected. However gas fitter said it wasn't unusual.

A great addition to my freestanding kitchen

    5/5
The gas control levers are nifty and I like the design of the cast-iron pan stands which don't clatter. The surface around the burners is easy to clean with mild detergent if you do it regularly. The drawer at the bottom is useful for storing the racks and grill pan. My cooker didn't come with any grill pan handles so I bought some separately. There were some basic instructions that came with the cooker for installation, but the comprehensive cooking manual is easily found online and was worth downloading to see the different settings and cook times. The inbuilt fan operates for a while after cooking to cool down the oven. I'm pleased with it so far, and I'm looking forward to putting the oven through its paces even more thoroughly in future!

    Good cooker

Great cooker. Choice is limited at this size which pushes the price up, but despite that we are very happy with it.
