The induction job is AMAZING- so fast and responsive, and easy to use. Love the fact that pan/tray handles etc don’t get hot while using, and any spills/splashes can be cleaned immediately, as it’s not too hot to touch. I love that I can use my enamel pots and trays on the top (as long as the base is magnetic!)
The appliance looks very impressive- but is a bit let down aesthetically by the plastic legs…at least on the one that AO delivered the legs went on straight- we rejected five separate deliveries of this range from a different supplier, that had obviously been damaged, with the legs attaching to a wonky base as a result!
There were a few rust speckles on this one when it arrived (which I’ve buffed out), and I’m not 100% convinced the lining of the small oven has been shaped properly as there is a couple mm tiny gap where the metal meets. The upstand also looks a tiny bit bowed… yes I’m being picky, but at this price I expect perfection (and having rejected 5 lemons I guess I’m looking harder!)
The twin grills are a great feature, and the big oven comes with 3 trays and a shelf (I’d prefer more shelves than trays but won’t argue!). Could do with more shelves for the small oven, which comes with one tray and one shelf….
The storage compartment is nice and roomy. The specifications detail removable inner door glass, and the manual seems to support this- I haven’t tried yet, but it’s hard to see how the glass separates as it looks bonded to the frame….
It’s still early days, but so far, we love it - as long as you don’t get a lemon, it’s a fab bit of kit! (I couldn’t find any alternative that seemed to tick all the boxes, which is why we kept just crossing our fingers for a decent one!)
