I have just use this Vax Smartwash, it's easy to use and bought my carpet up nicely. Feels pity dry when you finish cleaning carpet, there is a button for just drying to give that extra dryness I have always bought Vax carpet washers and hoovers I have been using the round orange vax for years, but I wanted to up date to the upright hoover and washer, I am looking at the spot washer now . Had a bissel before for years good machine sadly died. This one is lighter so easy to use forward wet back dry then dry only excellent quietly glad the other one died. Did a brilliant job of rugs.

Its powerful and easy to clean. Quite satisfying to see the dirty water come out after the wash but may need multiple cleans if the carpet is dirty. Sometimes its hard to press the bottom bit of plastic covering the bristles and you dont want to press it too hard lest it breaks.The function to dry when pulling back is really cool
