Cool product, fresh price. See what I did there?
4/5
I don't have many demands of a fridge-freezer, outside of a sci-fi-esque wish that it'd cook the food within so my food prep hating self didn't have to, but this one has ticked all of my metaphysical boxes.
Compared to my last one, this is positively Tardis-like with regard to how much you can cram in; more space for super adult boring junk like flavoured water, and kale.
The fact that the freezer has pull-out drawers, rather than the archaic shelf-based infrastructure from the "olden times", means that I can actually, genuinely, see stuff. And get to the stuff that I can see. Win win.
It's also frost free, meaning I don't have to sit in front of it with a hair dryer and an icepick every 6 months, like I'm a scientist chipping away at a 2 million year old iceberg to excavate Yeti remains. Except all I ever get is crumbs and the occasional sad-looking escaped sausage.
I had one minor issue of the water dispenser leaking for the first day or two, causing flash floods at depths of around 0.15 of an inch to sweep through my kitchen... I adjusted the seals on the water tank (but not the penguins, they were sleeping) and it's been fine since.
There's a certain smugness one feels from obtaining chilled water without even opening the fridge.
Is it noisy? Honestly I wouldn't say so. I barely hear a peep from it which is great, but part of me thinks it should speak up for itself more.
All in all, I'm impressed and not massively out of pocket so I'm happy enough.
