Difficult to fit and failed after 10 days

The good points. It’s a dishwasher, which washes dishes. The bad points:
Installation - the height adjustment legs seem quite flimsy. I resorted to mounting it on a couple of wooden blocks so the legs did not have to extend very far. Fitting the door is a complete pain. It involves fitting 2 plastic edges to the integrated door front, which then clip onto the dishwasher door to hold it in the correct position before the final door attachment screws are fitted. You have to be millimetre (or better) perfect otherwise the door will not engage properly - there is no advice to have a ‘trial fit’ (while the adjustable holes are the only attachment) before ‘committing’ to fitment. To add insult to injury, the supplied ‘final fitting’ screws ended up bursting through the ‘industry standard’ door. I think the design has been slightly modified to make a thinner (dishwasher) door, but the screws have not been shortened - please beware and check the screw length before making the final attachment. Currently in discussion with Candy/Hoover who claim it is an ‘installation issue’ - although they cannot tell me exactly what the error was (I add that the pictorial instructions have a caution about the width and length of a suitable door, but no mention of the required door thickness). The instructions were followed to the letter (or at least diagram/picture), and the supplied screws were used.
It is reasonably quiet in operation, and washes dishes well. Well, it did for 3 cycles (around 10 days), at which point the water heater failed. Fault confirmed by a Candy/Hoover technician, so it is being returned to AO as ‘faulty goods’.
I may have been unlucky as I assume that Hoover/Candy have suitable quality control, but will not be having a straight swop.
If you decide to buy this, please note my comments about installation difficulties.
