    Answer to faster cooking.

    5/5
This cooker is all singing and dancing. Great to look at. The taste of the food from the oven is the best I have ever tasted and the induction is far faster than gas. It does take time to study the different settings but all is explained in the instruction book. Revolutionary.

    Good looking

Very smart looking. I had pans which were suitable for Induction hobs but was told by Rangemaster unless they have flat bottom steel bases the hob would not be covered by their warranty so had to buy new pans. The hob is quite noisy but cooks well. The oven knlow has only gradients for 50, 100, 150. Difficult to know where 180 is.

    Not perfect but pretty good.

On the whole, an attractive and well-built cooker. I like the induction hob, it is fast, responsive and easy to clean. I am a bit disappointed that the plates are so close together. I sometimes cook in bulk with large pans and it is really only possible to use one large pan, maximum 26cm. Any larger will partially cover the remaining 3 plates. I do like having knobs to control the plates instead of digital touch controls - no faffing when something is about to boil over! The main oven is large and heats up quickly. The smaller top oven doesn't get hotter than 150C so you can't do more than heat food or plates in it. It does contain a large grill though which takes 5 minutes to heat up but cooks a lot of food very evenly once it is hot. Any new appliance has pros and cons when you are used to your former one but mostly I am enjoying using this cooker.

    First induction hob

Delivered and installed as promised. The induction hob is great - not used one before, it does 'buzz' a little which may be common to all induction hobs, I don't know.

    Good looking cooking

I love this cooker. As my first electric cooker I’m still getting use to it. But I love the way it cooks so quickly I never thought I would leave gas. I hope I get as many years out of my electric cooker as I did out of it’s predecessor. Can’t wait to use all the features would recommend.

    Great cooker

Love this cooker. It's really easy to use and economical. I always turn the dial down on the hobs or cooker as it produces so much heat.

    A good cooker

I do love this cooker but there are a few little niggles that might not bother others. The oven temperature dial isnt marked for every temperature eg it’s marked at 150 and 200 with a notch between that I guess is 175. Could have done with it being marked at 180 as that’s the most used number for us. The induction hob is great but it takes a little getting used to (used to have a gas hob). The main oven cavity isn’t as wide as my old cooker but the shelves reach further back than my old one. It cooks everything well and only gave 4 stars for personal preference things.

Shocked at how poorly constructed it was, given the brand name.

Unpacked the product and when removing all packaging I noticed the galvanized vent guards were all loose on the back panel, the self tapping screws had been started but not all screwed in. Then I noticed the oven door wouldn't shut. When I tried to shut it again it ripped of the plastic inner trim from the internal door surround. Refitted, attempted another closure to another misaligned trim removal. Lift up the oven door a lot and the spigot will align with the lock (approx 8mm out), but door very flimsy. Inner trim surround is cheap plastic; I was very surprised given the brand name. Noticed a convex dent in the grill door panel, damaged from manufacture prior to forming in the press. Also a drill chuck scuff, bottom of oven door center. which had removed paint Not near any fasteners so not sure how the fabricator managed to damage that, unless he was rushing to get the product out. That would explain why there was no quality inspection prior to packaging, which would have picked up the fact the oven door wouldn't shut. Spoke to Rangemaster, told me it was a door misalignment issue and not the kind of oven door you should have to lift up to try and close, still it was too easy to rip the trim off anyway. Overall, if you include the plastic, flimsy knobs which will no doubt melt or dis-colour over time as can happen, I am surprised at how shabby this product was. AO were great, offered everything you'd expect. As I wanted this particular design I have given Rangemaster the benefit of the doubt and accepted a replacement, which is yet to arrive, hoping this last product was one that just slipped through the net. Luckily, as I was first drop off, the couldn't take my old oven, so I kept hold of that and reinstalled it, allowing me to still cook whilst I await a replacement.
