The last Miele cleaner that we had lasted around 13 years was excellent. This model has a lower output motor ( the previous one was 1100 watts) but I can't honestly say that it makes any difference to the overall performance, it's just as good at sucking up the dust. It comes with a good tool kit and is reasonable light weight when it comes to lugging it up and down stairs. Seems a bit quieter than the previous one. For the price (compare it to some of the well known cordless options out there) you cant go wrong, not that the price was the driving factor in buying this - more an issue of quality and experience with the brand.

I bought the miele corded vacuum because my daughter recommended it. I had bought another make of vacuum a year or so ago and it was very heavy and cumbersome, so a personal recommendation was just what I needed. The miele is very quiet and follows me around effortlessly. The tools are onboard and the hose and heads all interchange easily. The cord is reasonably long so I do not have to keep re-plugging it in as I move around. I like the machine very much, but the replacement bags seem quite expensive.

Happy with my purchase. My parents have this one. So I knew what I was getting. Robust, good quality materials, event the plastic parts are well made. Great suction. Would love a roll on the front of the suction nosle. My house has carpet on 80% of the floor and it's getting increasingly difficult after a while to vacuum due to the continuous resistance of the friction. Bags are quite expensive if you take into account the rate I have to change them, especially with all the carpet. Long bar, I am a bit tall and with previous vacuums I have to slighy bend my back when vacuuming, quite long lead, very usefull as I can swap rooms withoit having to change between outlets. 4/5 stars due to the difficulty when used on carpet.
