Good at cooking, but some flaws

    4/5
God points: cooks food quickly and efficiently. It does the main part of its job well. Bad points: Oven door swings opens from the right, which is a bit of a nuisance in a small kitchen. Our old one opened from the top down, which is more space efficient, and the door was also less likely to get broken when it was like that. Unfortunately, most cookers seem to be like this now. The interior space is a bit smaller than we would have hoped. Our previous cooker had the same outer dimensions, but could take two 32x23cm trays on each level positioned long ways. With this one, you can only fit one tray in that size. You have to press plus on the clock before the cooker will start cooking. I don't understand why just turning the dial to the heat you want is enough. Lastly, there have been black flakes coming from inside the oven since we bought it. Don't know what it is, but we keep having to sweep bits off the floor after opening/closing the door.

It is A rated and looks lovely, had the older version of this cooker, and there was a fast heating front halogen ring but thats been dispensed with now just 4 normal speed, easy to use and good quality .

    Looks smart, needs safety features

    4/5
I haven't used the main oven yet, top oven works well, hob a little slow compared to my old oven and no hot hob warning light! it should really have one for safety and the price. I haven't found how to use as a slow cooker yet-it's not mentioned in the instructions? Be aware that the underneath of the grill pan is sharp. Looks smart, good that it has adjustable front and back wheels for levelling up.

    SIMPLY THE BEST

    5/5
I had a Belling Cookcentre in the past, which I was very happy with. I made the mistake of buying a different cooker when my Belling, after many years, finally gave out, but soon regretted that decision. I tried to make the best of a bad job but finally had to give in and buy another Belling Cookcentre. In every respect the Belling is of far better quality and I am enjoying cooking again. I have no hesitation in recommending the cooker.
