So far, so good. Couple of points to mention:
-It takes a little longer than my old dryer, but this was clearly advertised so isn’t an issue.
-It’s rarely my idea of dry when the automatic programs finish, but putting it on for an extra 10 or so minutes gets it there. Keeping in mind that we all have a slightly different idea of ‘dry’, I won’t mark it down for that.
-The water tank is ridiculously easy to empty, and as it’s right there in the door, it’s so easy to remember to empty it too. I do have to wait a couple of minutes to empty it though as the handle can be a bit hot after the cycle is finished.
-The contactless app feature, for me, is absolutely pointless. I have an iPhone so off the bat I can’t use it as it only supports Android phones. When we tested it with my partner’s Android, we found that by the time you’ve navigated the app and turned the dial to the contactless setting and tapped your phone on the dryer, it would have been quicker to just turn the dial to the option you want in the first place! I won’t mark it down for this because it doesn’t have any impact on using the machine and I can just ignore it.
-It really does use so much less electricity, at least in comparison to my old dryer. The smart meter used to be in the orange when it was on, and now it’s only halfway into the green!
All in all, it dries my clothes and hasn’t tried to set fire to the kitchen like my last machine, so I’m happy with it!
