Love it to bits!! Go and get one!
5/5
Love it to bits! Our old Beko tumble dryer would blow its fuse every time I had done more than one load, so I could only use it when I was in and had switched off the precious iMac which would get thoroughly upset if the power went off. [Yes we had the Beco engineer replace something after we got the recall email, but that didn't make any difference.]
I didn't even know there was such a thing as a heat pump tumble dryer but after doing some hasty research, it seemed to be an energy efficient option. It's fairly quiet and it dries stuff a lot quicker than I thought it would, but that's probably because I don't do huge loads of washing and put too much in the dryer at once.
It looks lovely next to our Miele washing machine even if both of their doors open the wrong way ;-)
The water collecting in the front door is great - makes it so easy to empty after every load, not that it was difficult in the Beco, but now I can see how much water there is. The double floof collector is also good and easy to clean.
We don't have one of those whizzy gadgets to tell us how much electricity it consumes, our smart meter is a bit technically challenged, but another review said it was about 50p a load, so I am happy to run with that.
I don't have anything I don't like about it - a minor irritation is the end of cycle beep which is very quiet and I have yet to find out how to turn it's volume up. Answers on a postcard please!
