One or two cons but overall a good machine
5/5
Had this to replace a basic 7kg tumble that we had for 5+ years. The Tumble dryer is great overall. Holds quite alot, the filter cataches more than the previous dryer and its purse like design is much more efficient. It's easier to clean, quite quiet but it is located in a cupboard on the 1st floor, so I would assume it would be quiter on a solid kitchen floor. Very economic - we've already saved money as the previous tumble use to eat through electric.
We've only used the 45 min cycle (this is sometimes quicker as it monitors moisture levels in the drum, relax creases and refresh cycles and that's all we seem to need. The oe draw back as highlighted in other comments was the reverse spin. Having a superking bed means that the duvet cover on its own end up in a nice tight ball by the end of a cycle, it happens as well with our daughters single bed covers/sheets. With all this tech I find it hard to believe they couldnt have added in some programme/hardware to reverse the current direction to create a reverse spin. We just use the short 45 spin, and then essentially unroll and put back in to dry. Then leave the last bits on a radiator. Bit of a faff, but nothing thats going to cause me to throw it out. I'll just end up getting a heat pump after this.
Used the app once, haven't used it since. There isn't a cool spin on the dial or on the app, and unlike other models we looked at (but weren't aware of) this doesn't ping your phone when done. Which is odd, seeing as the tumble and phone need a Wifi connection to communicate when setting up, so you would think this would be a simple service to include.
Apart from those downsides, the tumble is actually very efficient and economic. It does the job we need. I would buy this again if I needed to.
