Doesn't dry larger items at all well enough.

Service including removing the old was excellent and prompt. I wanted a vented dryer as we have a proper venting duct in place. However, I would not recommend this dryer unless you prefer to iron all your washing dry, I am not that person. I have had the dryer for 4 months now, giving me time to get used to the settings and programmes before reviewing. There are many potentially useful settings, some with options, and I have tried quite a few, but only smaller loads of small items (items smaller than a table cloth/bath sheet/large pillowcase, of thinner fabrics) emerge completely dry. Example- In the last three days I have washed two sets of bedding with double or kingsize duvets. It is necessary to dry pillowcases separately to the single large sheets or single duvet cover if I want them dry despite the low weights which my Bosch washer copes with without problems. The really important and significant cause is that the drum rotates just one way so that anything the size of a tablecloth, sheet, duvet cover or curtain wraps itself tightly round the other items as the drum rotates making a tight bundle, like a swaddled baby, which thumps around intact in the dryer - the outside is dry, once unravelled the items inside are still very wet. After three dries this morning, each interrupted to unravel the bundle at least once, my kingsize cotton duvet cover was 3/4 dry but still wet along one edge, I put over the radiator to get it dry. Yesterday the small double poly cotton duvet cover took two dries and a finishing time on the radiator. Jeans can suffer the same - dry legs but wet waistband. I don't have time or space to keep on doing this. I am saving up to buy another brand as soon as possible.
