I've never used a carpet cleaner before and our carpet is quite old and well used by the children so maybe beyond help! The cleaner was easy to use and the carpet dried quickly.

Used on very soiled beige carpets and is making a big difference. There’s a technique to using the carpet cleaner and I’m getting better results using it slowly rather than you might if you were vacuuming cleaning! Impressed with the product and the service from AO was exceptional. Will definitely buy again from AO without hesitation.

Brilliant, I got it out of a well packed box, and put it to use straightaway, very clear and easy to follow instructions, and it comes with a long cable, that made it easier to clean a large carpet, without swapping plugs. It cleaned a very dirty carpet really well, almost like new, I used the platinum professional solution that came with it, I’m thrilled with my vax

I decided not to keep mine for 2 reasons. Firstly, the water supply was not reaching the hand tools. Secondly, the float in the dirty water tank was faulty requiring frequent switching of the machine on and off, even when the tank was not full. It would help if the tank was calibrated to help with adding the correct amount of shampoo and water. Guidance is 40ml to every litre of water. A suitable funnel would also be handy for pouring into the tank as well as a tool or brush to help clean the machine. Connectability of the various parts could also be better. Sometimes bits just refused to click together. The dirty water tank also fiddly to empty without spillage, I think due to the shape. As for cleaning the machine did a nice job of bringing my dirty carpets back to life. Sometimes it took many passes to get tough stains out. So overall not for me. Will try another model further up the range. AO customer service brilliant as ever.
