We purchased because we couldn’t hear the radio over the noise of our old extractor hood. Swapping out was relatively easy, however when connected to the existing 100mm dia ductwork it was quite noisy. Now we have drilled a 150mm hole in the wall and fitted new ductwork it is so quiet that you don’t know that it’s on. ??

This is a great product. It was recommended by which. It is quiet and powerful. Definitely would recommend it.

Excellent, nice looking extractor hood. It works well although I haven’t yet tried to clean it but it seems easy enough. I bought this because it had been a recommended product.

Positives It looks nice, it is easy to operate and it works reasonably well. When cooking fish or curry we have had a lingering smell but I may need to run the fan for a while longer after I've finished cooking. It is very quiet, hardly audible on a low setting. Negative The template for fixing the fan and the chimney to the wall wasn't easy to follow at first glance as (I can only assume) it is for a 60cm and a 90cm hood. Once we'd worked that out it was ok. Fitting the chimney proved more tricky, it didn't want to go together but we got there in the end. Several reviews say the control panel is hard to see as it isn't illuminated, this is true depending on the lighting in the kitchen. I've gradually remembered where the controls are, and if I can't see them I put the main light on. I've found it a minor inconvenience, if they came on when the fan is on that would be even better but it is no reason not to purchase. I have been using it for a month now and it has lived up to expectations, I'm happy with my purchase.

Compared to the traditional chimney extractor this one replaced it looks sleek and modern. It's very quiet. This one on P2 level is quieter than the old one on max. This means the Neff is 2 levels higher and still much quieter. On P2 you can easily hold a conversation with people.

Good quality extractor which does a thorough job.

Not yet fitted but this is a Which Best Buy.
