Looks stylish, works quietly and efficiently, display clearly visible,easy to empty the tank- amazed at just how much water was collected. My previously damp room now feels comfortable and the mildewy smell has gone. Very satisfied.

Fantastic product! I can’t believe how much water it has collected in a short space of time. I bought 3 smaller ones earlier in the year and they’ve been ok, but not a patch on this big one. Well worth the money! My house feels warmer and much less damp. Washing also dries a lot faster. No new mold patches either.

Works like a charm and the built in hygroscope allows for proper humidity monitoring. It manages to extract liters of moisture in a few hours and I am considering to buy another one for the upstairs.

Bought this dehumidifier from AO.COM to go into a laundry room I built at the end of our garage. I partitioned and fully insulated it including vapour barrier. What I didn't anticipate was that the heat pump tumble dryer does not fully capture all the moisture when drying clothes and I got a nasty build up of moisture leading not only to mould starting to appear on the plasterboard, but an infestation of woodlice and even a slug! These bugs are attracted to warm moist environments, so a powerful dehumidifier was in order. We already have one in the house to remove excess moisture upstairs when everybody is using the shower, so could not permanently redeploy that one. So after some research, I settle on the DEXD214RF. It's much more efficient than my incumbent unit (I can tell from my smart meter which one is running). It's also very powerful. What I like best is that it permanently circulates a little air to detect rapid spikes in humidity, so when the tumbler starts it kicks in vert quickly. It has cured the damp problem, and after putting some ant powder down, the woodlice are gone too! It is noticeably quieter than my other unit too, you cannot hear it on standby unless you put your ear on it, and when it is actively running it sounds like it's making a quarter of the noise my other unit makes. Very happy with my purchase, and would recommend.

This is a brilliant dehumidifier! I had a really bad problem with condensation in my bay window so much so that I actually had puddles of water and of course then mould grew. I use the dehumidifier in the affected window and now I don’t have a problem with moisture or mould. It is quiet and efficient. I also use it to dry my clothes and the house is warmer too. I did have to justify spending so much on this item but I’m glad that I did.
