Very happy with our new Hisense Heat-Pump Tumble Drier. We replaced an old vented-style drier with this model as we wanted to gain the energy efficiency of the condensing heat-pump as well as the benefit of the large capacity drum. The drier is really quiet, efficient and works really well. We paired it with a new Hisense & series washing machine and can run smart programs where the washer informs the drier of the ideal drying cycle based on the load weight, which is a cool feature and really works. We were a little concerned with how often the water reservoir may need to be emptied, but it is large and is easily slid out of the drawer to empty and replace. If connected to the app, you are also informed when the cycles are complete and when to clean the filter (which is also simple). Overall an excellent purchase.

Brilliant replacement for an older but not ancient dryer. So far no complaints and it’s really user friendly, quieter than the old condenser dryer, nowhere near as much humidity put out and crucially it’s less than halved the electric bill. I’ve got it plugged in to a smart electric plug which accurately works out your bill, before it ran over 1kw on general use and this happily turns over at around 200-300w during use. Yes the ‘smart’ element with mobile phone control isn’t the most advanced but what is nice is that it’ll tell your phone when the load is finished. I was a little wary of the reports of heat pump dryers taking longer but that’s not the case at all, seems to get through things just as quick.
