Nice machine, but with my first eco 50 wash the glassware should be spotless. And it wasn’t. That’s using the machine on predominantly clean crockery to freshen it up after the kitchen installation. My 25 year old slimline Bosch was cleaner. Will try a hotter wash next time. Nb using fairy plus tablets.

Good dishwasher for the money

Bought this to replace a standalone dishwasher in a new kitchen. Only used it for a week now so can't comment on the longevity. First impression is that the dishwasher is quite small internally. I wanted one with the integral cutlery drawer so I knew I'd lose some space in height. I didn't realise how much smaller it would be internally in width and depth than my standalone dishwasher though. As a family of 4 we're having to run it twice a day now and many items simply don't fit. I had read other reviews saying their dinner plates didn't fit and thought that sounded like an exaggeration - it's not. We have standard sized dinner plates and they don't fit in width (height is fine as long as the upper rack is on highest setting). Also, if you have some tall glasses you won't be able to wash them at the same time as dinner plates. I've not tried any of my larger pans or the slow cooker dish as they'll simply fill the rack. The other thing I'm disappointed with is the automatic open function at the end of the cycle. This was a feature I was looking for to ensure everything is dry. Sadly it dries much worse than my previous dishwasher, I literally have to dry the mugs and bowls as I take them out now. Only plus side is it is quite quiet. Overall it's a big disappointment and I really wish I'd gone with a different make.

I can't believe how dishwashers have improved in the fifteen years since we last bought one. Lots of programme options, a vast interior with many options to configure shelving to suit varying loads, plus a top cutlery tray, freeing-up valuable space. Clever features are it opens the door at the end of the cycle to improve drying once the temperature is low enough to avoid spoiling kitchen units, and a full selection of start time delay periods for using off-peak electricity.

cleans well, but very difficult to get everything in. Just seems badly designed. I think the cutlery tray instead of a basket just wastes needed vertical space and the spines are too close together

Washes the dishes brilliantly, very, very quiet. Good choice of programs. Some long cycles are very energy efficient which is surprising but great to clean stubborn dishes. Love the light on the floor during the cycle. Great that the door pops open when finished so the dishes can dry and the dishwasher doesn't get smelly from being closed and damp. For some reason it has 2 legs at the front and only 1 at the back in the middle. Would have been easier to install if it had 2 legs at the back, one in each corner. The cutlery drawer does impact on the size of the glasses you can put on top rack (even when lowered) Best to measure your plates as the bottom rack doesn't give the most generous height to the arm either.
