Excellent dishwasher especially for the easily amused.

    5/5
This is a real step up from our last basic dishwasher. Leaves dishes really nice and clean. Exactly what you'd expect from a dishwasher. The cutlery tray is really handy and the inside offers lots of ways to configure the space for maximum capacity. Nice and quiet. However, more importantly, this dishwasher plays the intro to ashes to ashes by David Bowie when you turn it on. And when the cycle is done a little robo-arm pushes the door open with accompanying steam like the alien spacecraft at the end of close encounters of the third kind!!! This is the dishwasher for you if you are a Lauren Laverne fan and want some house music or are easily amused.

Flimsy plastic inside The drawers are not adjustable in hight and you regular large plate will touch the upper arm situated above the lower drawer. Doesn't dry super well, you'll need to wait a few hours before removing your dishes. I would expect more from this dishwasher given the non entrypoint price.

    Good for a cheaper model

It's a month since it was delivered. Good so far, I like the fact the door opens at the end of the cycle, it stops people keep opening it to see where it's at. Push and go is a good thing too, use this mostly, everthing comes out sparkling. Not sure about the set up with the dividers, could do with some wider spaces, too many narrow, no good for dishes. Had to raise the top rack as couldn't fit dinner plates in the bottom but now can't fit small plates in the top. Haven't made my mind up about the cutlery tray, yet.

    Honest review... Cutlery Tray Fail!!

    2/5
The quality of these white goods is clearly diminishing year on year. I previously owned a Beko dishwasher (for 6 years) that was somewhat cheaper than the Indesit, but the quality of the build, the trays and drawer mechanisms was of a much higher grade. I bought this one based on the positive reviews and also the cutlery tray feature. However, in order to use the cutlery tray effectively you need to either: a) set the below (middle) tray to it's lowest position - however, doing this means that you cannot get 27cm dinner plates into the bottom tray without interfering with the cleaning blade. Or b) Raise the middle tray to the higher position (in order to fix the issue "a" ) But then you cannot raise the shelves/flaps on either side of the tray - you need to do this in order to fit cups and glasses in the outer sides of the tray - because the shelves in their raised positions interfere with the cutlery tray above. So, what should be a really intuitive design becomes a really annoying first world problem. I am tempted to return the dishwasher and get one without the cutlery tray, but I am not sure I can face the upheaval of un-integrating and re-integrating it again!!
