Finally a machine that dries plastic storage containers
5/5
We only have space for a slimline dishwasher, this is our third integrated model and the first Beko we’ve tried. We’ve only had it a week but have noticed it’s extremely good at drying plastics where none of our previous machines did. ( we’ve had 2 counter top dishwashers and an ingenious cupboard sized pull out top loading one a very long time ago too) This Beko so far cleans beautifully, there’s no horrible coating left on plates if you put a saucepan that’s prepared mashed potato into the washer, our cutlery is looking sparkly as are our glasses and yes, I’ve already mentioned it but I’m so impressed and pleased that the plastic storage containers plus their lids come out dry. They never have in any of our previous machines and we have had branded machines as well as an unknown (our very first one). We mainly use the 58 minute wash although we have tried others too but the quick and shine 60 degree wash is so good we don’t feel we need the auto or the intensive yet. The mini wash cleans well too but I avoid it (it’s a personal choice) because it is only a 35 degree wash. Things I’d like in addition to the standard features? Our last dishwasher had two features I’d like, namely a light projecting onto the floor to show the dishwasher is still processing and the 30 minute wash at 60 degrees. Having said that I’m already delighted with the plastic drying capabilities of this dishwasher and my cutlery looks new again so this machine has one me over. One last thing, my son and daughter in law are using a full sized Beko dishwasher that was included in the sale of their current home, it was second hand and unknown as to how old it was then, they’ve had it 6 1/2 years and it’s still working perfectly. Our daughter also has a Beko full sized one too, working perfectly so far. Our last dishwasher was a branded, more expensive one and only lasted 3 1/2 years. That is why we decided to try Beko, they seem to last. So far we’re very impressed. Only time will tell but we’ve got high hopes.
