Great oven. Heats up very quickly and cooks food well. Looks great.

A good little oven that is simple and easy to use and does pretty much everything most people would want I’d imagine. The controls are easy and intuitive to use and the only comment I’d make would be to watch some of the metalwork at the top behind the control panel as it’s very sharp and gave me a slice whilst unpacking it. Overall thought very happy indeed.

So happy with this oven. It has 3 chunky dials - one for each function - main (fan) oven, top oven or top grill. Simple. The timer does what it needs to do - basic timer, stop oven after the number of minutes you set, or comes on/off at times you specify (even that's too much for me). The fan oven gets to 180c in about 7 minutes, the top oven in about 10 mins. It's extremely quiet compared to the oven it replaces, and a pizza done in it recently was very evenly cooked and had a perfectly crisp base.

This replaced a Hotpoint single oven which was great to begin with, but later started to decide to turn off randomly, the cooking setting didn't match the dial, etc etc. Huge disappointment. This oven however, there are chunky (albeit lightweight - so don't be rough!) dials. So simple. ONE for the main oven, ONE for the top oven. ONE if you use the top oven as a grill. There is a "slow cook" (100c basically) setting on the main oven, but it's a nice touch. The timer is all I ever need - set it to x number of minutes and it will switch off when done, handy when I'm walking the dog. The main fan oven gets to 180c in 7minutes 30 seconds. The conventional oven gets to 180c in 10 minutes. I would rather it heated up in 2 minutes but that just doesn't exist.

Wanted to grill burgers (raw meat) - grill cycles on and off - being off for minutes at a time - and yes, I did have the door open. Surely this isn't correct? Nothing in the manual. Spoke to Hotpoint, they can't explain. Engineer booked. If this is the way the grill functions, then this model is not acceptable for me - I would be concerned about food poisoning.

Delivered on time, packaged with no problems. Looks great, I had a single fitted oven previously and really wanted a double, I was concerned that it wouldn’t fit but measurements all correct and fits perfectly.

Purchased because my old oven stopped working and was pleased with the choice of free delivery dates convenient to me. Works well so far.
