I bought this to replace an ageing Neff unit. It was very easy to fit. It is lighter than it looks and I managed to fit it on my own with no problems. The lights are nice and bright and the push buttons are positive to use. It removes cooking smells very effectively (vented to the outside). It's a bit noisy but then it is quite a low cost unit.

Loud when on max, but in can be on for less time because of how powerful it is. We found it to be one of the more powerful visor hoods around! Also has an option for external venting. It is a different shape to our previous hood - we worried it might be bulky or imposing, but it's not. Looks great!

An excellent product. Some reviews commented on the amount of noise; at the lowest setting, which is all I have needed so far as it is highly effective, I have found it acceptably quiet. It looks good too and seems to be of good quality. Would recommend it.

High quality as expected from Bosch. Instructions for fitting were clear but I had it fitted professionally because I would not have been able to fit it alone following an injury to my shoulder. Anyone with D.I.Y ability would be able to fit it but the guidelines must be followed.

Bought this to replace old Zanussi hood that had seen better days. High quality construction as you'd expect from Bosch. Yes, the fan noise can be excessive on level 3, but 1 and 2 are fine. Tip 1 - you will need to buy a carbon filter as it does not come with one. Replica Bosch ones are available online for £20, so no need to spend £65! Tip 2 - if your plug socket is in your canopy cupboard, you may need to use a hole saw to make a hole large enough to fit the plug and cable through (it's not detachable, so beware). The drilling template for screws/rawlplugs is useful, and I found 2 screws were sufficient if drilling into masonry. Takes a good hour to put in, so measure twice, fit it once!

Easy to install and very effective at removing cooking smells. Looks very smart in stainless steel. I looked for a long time to find a replacement product and this one fitted the bill perfectly
