Adequate but not special
3/5
This dishwasher was purchased to replace a 20 year old Bosch Slimline. It had a very high bar to meet and so far it hasn't quite got there, but for the price it's adequate
The instructions that come with it aren't at all clear and in fact they appear to be generic across all Beko models many of the features aren't included with this very basic model and so can make the instructions difficult to interpret.
I wasn't able to set anything related to water hardness, the instructions just didn't work.
The cutlery rack takes up a lot of space, almost half of the lower drawer and so reduces what can be put there.
Accessing the salt tank is awkward and requires the use of a removable funnel which I am pretty sure will get lost over time.
We regularly use some Pasta bowls, these don't fit well into any of the racks at all and we have had to re-wash them after both the washes we have tried so far.
All in all it has washed most of what we have put in it notwithstanding the comment above. It was very cheap for a dishwasher, so there is an element of "get what you pay for" but it definitely isn't a Bosch.
It is however a functional appliance if you adapt, I suspect we will have to run it more often with less in it.
