After much deliberation I went for the cream SMEG fab30 for my new home. It’s currently the star of my open plan living kitchen and I love it. I love the two drawers and ample room for separating foods for air flow around the fridge. The freezer is a good size for one person (would be fine for two as well). I love how it’s like a piece of furniture with personality. I would definitely recommend.

I love my new fridge. It looks great and I've wanted a retro style Smeg fridge freezer for a while. The fridge is spacious and well designed. It is an ideal size for my household and is much quieter than my previous fridge (which wasn't a Smeg). I was aware that the door needs good clearance on the hinge side and had the space to accommodate it, but buyers should be aware of this as it is quite a large door. Hopefully it will last many years. Now I just need a new kitchen to go with my new fridge!

Looks SO COOL so Retro Weighs a ton Needs to be proud of the mounting point because the doors are eternally hinged and need to swing open - be aware of that. But the thing looks so 1950's it enhances it.

The product is one aspect (it’s very good), but what I was most impressed with was the delivery. I could track their progress via an online map. The delivery was on time and as expected. The delivery guys were really helpful, quick but careful, and polite & friendly. I’d buy from AO again just on the basis of these delivery drivers

I am very happy with the fridge. It looks great and is well organised on the inside. There’s a lot of space for stuff in the door compartments and it doesn’t frost up when vegetables touch the back wall like my last fridge did. Also delivery and installation was done well.

It is beautiful. The interior is very well thought out with plenty of storage and 2 drawers.

Compressor is like a machine gun. 50db start up noise.

Aesthetically gorgeous if you like Smeg retro fridge freezers, and I'm a big fan! Lovely plastics and the finish inside and out is gorgeous with chrome edged shelves, although you'll have to really want a Smeg to justify the price tag as it doesn't have any mechanical bells and whistles. What I like - massive door rack that will fit 4-5, 2 litre milk containers, 2 covered drawers in the fridge for vegetables and fruit, meat etc, LED light strips on either side of the fridge compartment which look gorgeous and make me want to keep the fridge door open and stare at the contents! The only potential negative so far, and I've only had it a week, is that it runs a little too cold in my kitchen which although a cool room is well within the recommended operating temperature range. thermostat is currently set to the minimum setting and fridge temperature lies between 1 to 2C. I would have preferred the option of greater control to achieve a slightly higher temperature. However, despite being colder than I would like, my tomatoes, salads and vegetables have stayed fresher for longer than would have been the case in my previous fridge freezer, hence the reason for change. The freezer compartment is roomy and great for those items that I want to access regularly rather than keep opening my larger freezer. Overall, I'm more than happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend
