    AEG 8000 SprayZone - Great Dishwasher !

    5/5
Firstly, the dishwasher looks smart I have had several AEG kitchen appliances in the past but never a dishwasher. Install was relatively easy note due to the Aqua control (leak detection feature) the hose connection is slight larger compared to a regular dishwasher hose. This is my first dishwasher with a cutlery drawer and is great and for our household we can get more in the dishwasher compared to one with a regular basket. Other benefit is had to use it less so far compared to my old machine. SprayZone is great feature where you can put dishes with baked on food and it comes out clean compared to my old dishwasher where would have to prewash or give the dish a scrub to remove the left behind food! Drying is great and the door pops open during the drying phase to improve drying further. The Height adjustable upper basket is nifty design and easy to change by lifting it and locking when you need more height for glass ware just lift and the basket will drop with ease. The 30 min cycle is great for lighter cleaning if need clean dishes quickly without hand washing. Lastly it is super quiet! I used to hear my old dishwasher it from my lounge and would close my kitchen door. On my first use I had to check it was running it was so quiet. Overall really pleased with the AEG dishwasher so far!

Looks good, cleans well, super quiet

Overall I’m impressed with this dishwasher. It was to replace an ageing dishwasher, and was super easy to install. You also have the option of a hot or cold fill depending on your preference. It looks great too being in a stainless steel finish. I do find the internal space a bit restrictive, although the same overall size as my previous dishwasher, the internal space is a lot smaller. I’d say this dishwasher therefore would only be suitable for smaller households. You would be unlikely to do a Sunday roast and be able to get it all done in one dishwasher load. I didn’t realise I had large rimmed mugs, but it turns out I do, whilst there’s space for 4 rows of mugs, I can only do one on each side on the upper rack. I also find that on the lower rack the water sprayer gets in the way when loading large pots and pans. It’s super easy to lift the upper rack to give you more height for the lower rack, however it then gets extremely tight on the upper rack for anything taller than a mug. It could do with a mid height setting, it’s either very low, or very high. I also find not all the pots are dry enough when they come out, I’m used to plastic not drying fully, however I often find pools of water in the underside base of my mugs and bowls, the slant on the upper rack isn’t enough to tip water off them, so they do need a dab with a tea towel before putting them away. Having said that with a bit of practice and clever stacking it’s a really good dishwasher, and cleans extremely well. The cutlery tray is great! Makes sure everything is evenly spaced and gets a thorough clean. It is extremely quiet, I have a shared lounge/kitchen, and I don’t notice it at all when it’s running. You can also set the door to open automatically at the end of each wash to air dry. Overall I would recommend as long as you don’t mind a bit of dabbing with a tea towel.

Impressive advances on this AEG Dishwasher

This Sprayzone dishwasher replaced a ageing machine, sad to say I was excited to use it (who gets excited to wash dishes!!?). It looks super smart, simple to install, simple instructions on use that are intuitive. Although worth reading the manual to understand the settings menu relating to water hardness etc... were you can adjust the salt levels dependant on the hardness of your water. I have always wanted a cutlery drawer - now I have one, but still getting used to it, I do find it a little shallow for some of my utensils (fish-slice), I will continue to check out different ways of loading. On first use I had to check to see if it was in fact working - it is so quiet! Like the function to hold wine glasses - very clever. The mid shelf can you up and down, but at its lowest level I am unable to fit in some of my pint glasses as they are too tall, this was no different in my previous dishwasher. The cleaning is very efficient, glass ware and heavy soil, as yet I have only used Auto, and 30 min cycle both have done their job well. The configuration of the baskets are totally different to its predecessor and I doo need to check out different ways of loading, particularly to maximise the space. I personally would have liked to have seen some visuals of loading configurations. I went on line and viewed the videos to get a better understanding of some of the functions.Overall very pleased with the machine.

    Supper Dishwasher

The AEG 8000 Sprayzone dishwasher is a very modern looking machine with brushed steel finish which avoids smudge marks. The display panel has a glass effect touch screen buttons which are very easy to use with setting from 30 minutes to 160 minutes with optional functions such as time delay, glass, pots and spray zone. When the cycle completes the door pops open for additional air drying and to keep to dishes fresh. The machines leave dishes spotlessly clean including heavily soiled pots. The machine is very quiet and it can hardly be heard. The top draw for cutely is great idea as you no longer need a basket which makes space for the spray zone area which is great for heavy soiled pots and pans. The machine is easy to set up and start using quickly. I would highly recommend this machine.

    Great dishwasher

So far so good. Dishwasher does not disappoint, even on the shortest programme it cleans all of the dishes without any problems. What is more it is really quiet, can not hear a single noise when it’s on. Overall really satisfied with the appliance. As a bonus it is not only functional but also looks very stylish! Would definitely recommend.
