Well designed Freezer

This is a well designed product. The instructions for use were clear an d precise.I have it in my utility , but it is so quiet it would be fine in the kitchen.
The door is reversible, a good feature and I note the hinges appear strong and well built.
It is tall! Nearly six feet. The top two compartments are fast freeze and comprise of a glass shelf with a clear lift up door, draws would be impractical as you would have to take them out to see inside them.
The remaining compartments are clear draws which drop down at the front about 30 deg. When opened making it easy to see what is inside and refill. The draws also come out easily for reorganising or cleaning.
The frost free feature seems to work well, however I nave only had the freezer a couple of weeks.
Don’t forget that if you close the door and then try to reopen it immediately it can be very difficult as the air pressure stabilises, it’s best to wait about 30 seconds to avoid strain and damage. (The instructions mention this)

How cold is my freezer?

Bought Beko again because of excellent experience with previous model (10 years old). This freezer makes better use of internal space and has significantly more storage, except for the sliding ice tray shelf, which I have discarded.
Major criticism - unlike the old model, there is no digital temperature display; the light indicators are simply inadequate and I have had to buy a thermometer to monitor the temperature.
