The delivery went well with them arriving when they said they would. There was a phone call 20 minutes before to say they were about to turn up. The two lads were courteous and friendly. The freezer itself looked well made but the instructions are rather lacking and the Beko website, although it had a video, didn't help much when it came to reversing the door. It comes on the left. You need a degree in engineering, numerous specialised tools and prior knowledge on how to do it (which my husband has) and it only took us both three hours! SO if you like a challenge, do it yourself, or pay the door reversal fee!
The freezer started and we left it for the stated four hours before putting anything in. The hum isn't silent but quite quiet and as ours is out of the way so won't worry us, but it might be a bit loud in a kitchen unless installed inside other units. It has an open door alarm that starts after about a minute, so we now have a competition to get the food in before the annoying noise starts! We have had it two week now and it's still working. So all in all a good buy. Just wish that AO had sent us the money off voucher before we bought it!!
