After reading countless reviews and watching “YouTube” videos about the product I finally took the plunge! This has to be the best family sized fryer on the market, we have cooked various items in it all come out perfect. At first glance it looks like it has a very shallow basket but this allows you to spread things out in its very generous size not all bunched up like others. Then you come to the reel magic the filtration system it is so easy to use after every use of the machine I simply let the oil cool before just flicking the switch and a few minutes later it’s filtered all the oil leaving behind all those bits that normally sit in the bottom of the fryer when you cook. Then you simple flick the switch again to slide out the container with the oil in so you can wash everything, it breaks down to five parts all of which can go in the dishwasher except the heating element of course! They do make a smaller version of this product also as the semi pro-version is quite big and we haven’t quite found the cupboard space for it yet but all in all this is a great product and well worth the purchase if you’re in the market for a new fryer.

This machine offers some really helpful extras to our last one. The pros are a large mesh tray that holds more chips which in turn gives more space for the chips to brown off. Plus the draining/ filter system meaning each time when the oil is drained to the lower container any "bits" can be removed and the machined washed. The only slight con is the size, good cupboard space is needed.

Easy to use and exceptionally easy to clean. I’ve had fryers before and found them difficult to clean after use, the oleoclean makes that concern a thing of the past. Well worth buying, it makes a wonderful addition to your kitchen.

Great for a family of 5. Also for cooking large things like battered fish, donuts ect. The oil filter is great doesn't leak and once draind you can just wipe out the pan with kitchen roll or put in the dishwasher. Heats oil up fast and holds its temperature. All in all great product.

Firstly fantastic service from the word go from AO.com and fryer was cheaper than everywhere else. The fryer is bigger than it looks, that’s a plus for me. It made really good chips, and it’s great that I can filter the oil out and it’s really easy to clean. I don’t eat chips that often but when I do I want them to taste great and this does the job.

The thing I’ve always hated about deep fat fryers is the fat...dirty oil after a couple of uses and a messy chore to get the used oil out. This one is brilliant as it drains the oil after every use and almost all of it is dishwasher safe. When the oil needs replacing, you can simply pour it out of the plastic container at the bottom straight into a bottle. It’s ingenious and has made my frying life much easier

Likes: everything is dishwasher safe with the exception of the element, obviously. The filter is a great idea, as is the easily removable oil tank. Good selection of temperature settings and indicator light to show when temperature achieved. Not so much: Due to the design of the fryer the distance between the element and the upper oil level is not ideal if you want to fry battered fish. As suggested in the instruction leaflet I gently lowered the fish in to the oil using tongs, whereupon it promptly welded itself to the basket due to there being insufficient depth of oil to prevent this happening(It was filled to Max indicator) Will undoubtedly be great for chips - battered fish not so much.

Very happy with this deep fryer. Love how easy it is to use and keep clean. Filtered oil storage is great.
