Have used this fryer twice now and love the easy clean and oil drain function. The only slight downside of the design is that the oil box on the bottom makes it quite tall. Fine for me but I would imagine anyone shorter than say 5’6” would find it difficult.

Brilliant product, being able to filter the oil everyone you use it at the flick of a leaver is so helpful, keeps the oil fresh and uncontaminated.

Totally brilliant concept in deep fryers. After years of struggling to keep my deep fryer clean, mopping up puddles of oil, scrubbing oil tank bodies and changing the oil after every 4-5 frys, I stumbled upon this model. Why it took someone so long to come up with this idea is totally beyond me, its so simple but so clever too. You do not need to wait for it to cool to filter and drain, turn the knob as soon as you have finished cooking and the appliance will wait for the oil to cool before draining automatically. Cook your food, turn the knob to drain, put the oil container in the fridge or just leave in the appliance and have crystal clear oil the next time you cook. As long as you don't over fill, you won't get leaks or spills. I' ve filtered my oil 6 times so far an have not spilled a drop. Cooking for a family of 5 is no problem with the larger model, the appliance looks fantastic and stylish and is so functional. My only complaint is the timer screen could be a little brighter but that's a small quibble for such a fantastic product. I am health conscious and don't fry every day but chips don't taste the same by any other method and it cooks doughnuts brilliantly for a weekend treat. Money very well spent.

This is a large and easy to clean deep fat fryer. Simple to use and cooks enough for a normal family meal. Tefal is a quality brand so this fryer should last us for years. AO price was head and shoulders better than other online prices, and delivered quickly (on a Sunday!). This was my first AO.com purchase and it has been a great experience for me.

Great item with a nice deep basket. Really like the fact you can filter the oil and reuse it. The only draw back I have with this item is the fact the handle dosn't fold away would be much better if it did for storage other than that it's perfect.

Excellent good looking product. Had doubts about purchasing another deep fat fryer, but this is one is really up-market. Great for family use as well as individual. Love how filtration is so easy and clean fat at all times if you use the filtration system. Haven’t yet used in for tempura battered veg, but hopefully soon. Great product, great price and good delivery.
