We already had an American style fridge since 2005, I was gutted when it started to break down this year and they couldn’t fix it! I could never go back to a normal size fridge! Then I found the LG GSXV91MCAE American fridge freezer and I knew it was going to be perfect for our family. We absolutely love it. It is so spacious, also the fact that it doesn’t require to be plumbed in has been amazing. Meaning that I can move it around when I refurbish my kitchen next year. It holds 635L of food between the fridge and freezer almost 100L than our old fridge! Yet it looks very sleek and not any bigger than the old one. I love the fact that I can chap on the door and see what’s inside quickly whilst making up my shopping list it’s so handy. It’s also very quiet, even when making ice! The door in door section of the fridge is also extremely handy, especially when cooking so I use those shelves mainly for sauces, milk and basic ingredients for our meals. The in door shelves are double width so you can fit so much more on them than other fridges we have had in the past. It’s sleek, modern, easy to clean and looks amazing. All words that I never thought I would use to describe a fridge freezer!! Some people might think it’s expensive for a fridge freezer but I have to say it is worth every penny and this is a brand that we will stick with in the future.

Love the fridge freezer. Bit naff that the freezer door pops open and closed when you shut the inner fridge door, no matter how gently, but it can be forgiven due to the quality of everything else.

We bought this to replace our old American fridge freezer and after lots of research, chose this one in matt black to match our new kitchen. One week in and we all love this fridge freezer - it feels and looks so high tech, the Instaview light up, see through door is much more than a gimmick and we are all used to reaching for the milk, juice, ketchup now without opening the main door. The fridge is also massive inside and holds a bit more than our last one. Note it’s deeper than many other models so we’re glad we measured before buying. We also love the electronic water and ice dispenser with two kinds of ice and the UV light feature on the water supply means we can put it anywhere in the kitchen without having to worry about plumbing it in. We are really happy with our choice of fridge freezer, and it looks fantastic too.

So pleased with this fridge freezer. Looks amazing and the quality of the finish is excellent. The fridge compartment in particular is big and easily holds everything for our family of four. The door in a door feature is great as it prevents loss of cold air. The ice maker churns out ice at a rapid pace and dispenses in blocks or crushed ice. The service from AO.com on delivery was top notch.

Absolutely over the moon with this purchase, it is a perfect size for a family and holds absolutely tonnes! I will never go back to a single refrigerator again. This is my first experience with LG for a refrigerator, its safe to say this will now be the brand I will always go to. The fridge is so sleek with the newest technology. I really enjoy the UV light that cleanses the water, makes me feel less paranoid about having to clean out the water dispenser every day which is ideal for a large family. It means we can keep using it and the service is uninterrupted! I really like the tap the glass to see inside feature, I've never seen this before and it certainly helps checking if we have milk in at a quick tap. This is a great size and something that I thoroughly recommend to anyone. The only issues we had were with delivery, this is a very very heavy fridge its around 24 stone! We had to have our builders move it in down the steps as the delivery team are apparently only allowed to lift down 4 steps which was not made clear at all. Luckily we managed to get it in ourselves and are really pleased with it now.

Early days but so far Really impressed with the fridge/freezer, my wife thought the small door would be a comic but actually gets used a hell of a lot for high usage items, freezer froze fast and seemingly cools stuff quickly in the fridge as well. Quality is very high as you’d expect for the cost. The water dispenser is a little slower than a mains fed unit but works well for us as we’re not sure on the final layout of the house so plumbing might have been an issue otherwise. Would highly recommend this product.

Overall a very well made product, sturdy and metallic, not plastic. It is exceptionally heavy, so plan how you are going to get it in situ. Noticeably quieter than our old fridge. And a ten year warranty on the compressor. So looks like its built to last.
