The dryer works well but the new metal exhaust tube means that the dryer sticks out further. A big plus is the new lint collector which is easy to clean and obviously much safer than previous designs. It is well engineered.

Good product, well made. Aluminium ducting provided is not very flexible, but must be used at the dryer end because of heat. Later it can be coupled to flexible PVC ducting. A little pre-planning was needed for the ventilation arrangements

Always trust hotpoint. It's a simple machine with no gimmicks. It runs quiet and has dried even the biggest load in 90 minutes. Nice and easy install too.

Excellent dryer, easy to use. You can open the door during drying to check contents. I find vented dryers dry more quickly than heat pump or condenser type. It is also very quiet. I did stick a label near the timer to remind me to turn ‘clockwise’ only. The door is hinged on the right hand side You soon adapt to that. The dryer it replaced was a hotpoint TL12 vented dryer which has been used weekly for 26 years, so what more can I say. Hotpoint for me!

Drys clothes quickly. My old tumble dryer is a heatpump one and won't just finish drying off once washing has been hung on the line. I wanted one that just dries the clothes, and isn't sensitive and doesn't take 3 hours for a load. This one is great as has 2 settings...high or low heat and a dial timer. 30/40 minutes and the washing is dry. Should have brought it sooner.

Heats up very quickly which is much better for saving electricity and drying time is better than expected . This is replacing a Hotpoint dryer we had for 23 years and was a great workhorse with no problems except wear and tear . Here’s hoping this one will be as good for many years to come .

Replaced an aging and noisy tumble drier, but it’s soooo much quicker, quieter, and more effective at drying clothes, and especially towels which is key at this time of year when it’s not so easy to dry things outside. It’s basic, but does what it needs to do. And because it’s quicker I’m not expecting it to save some energy too.
