It you want a graphite dryer this one is good. You can’t get a vented one these days. Slower than a vented. Quicker and cheaper than a heat pump. It’s ok but too slow. Seems things are going backward in performance with a focus on saving money and carbon.

Do not buy, it makes horrendous banging knocking noise which shakes all the house from 1st day, I had a Hotpoint engineer over and apart from the problem has not been fixed, he say I have no grounds to return it because the banging is apoarently normal for this model... very dissapointed in Hotpoint and stuck with the item ....

Easy to use and quiet when in operation. Lots of different settings which is useful. Items are perfectly dry once load has finished its cycle.

A great buy! I have not owned a tumble dryer previously to compare it to others, but can say it it very quiet and it effectively dries my laundry. The filter is easy to remove and clean. It has made life a lot easier!
