New ideas, rubbish results! Stick to old style venting dryers!

Yes it works, it looks good. But good god it takes FOREVER to dry anything. We purchased this as our last machine died. We went for the bigger drum size as we have lots of washing. BUT don’t be fooled by the bigger drum size and eco credentials (to which does matter but…….) This is a heap of rubbish. My husband thinks it’s great (ps he may put stuff in the thing but never takes it out!) It takes 2.5hrs to dry one set of double bed sheets. Yes 2.5hrs and don’t get me started on a mixed wash of clothes or dare we say towels!!! If I could send it back I would in a heartbeat. Give me an old style (now C rated) appliance any day. My husband and I will fall out about this machine. Heat exchange pumps are rubbish! A total and utter rip off. I must be using far more electric. I’m currently waiting for load 2 of the day to dry bear in mind I have done 5 loads of washing already (bedding and towels) they are waiting for their turn to tumble and I can guarantee they won’t all be dry tonight!!!!

    Great dryer.

This can be connected to the pipe for the water to be drained direct, but I haven't done that yet. The water drawer fills up and a pleasant little melody sounds when this is full, to let you know when to empty it. If this happens mid cycle, it stops the dryer until you have emptied it and pressed start again. I've tried the duvet dry, clothes dry and other cycles and all have worked great. Quite impressed with lack of creases in the clothes. I could fit a double duvet in this - dried it fine. No problems. Being 10kg - I did wonder if it could fit the load from my 12kg washing machine, but it does! Great dryer - pleased with it!

There is still a new metallic smell on the clothing, that’s after about a week of constant use. It’s a lot noisier than I expected. The door feels really flimsy, to the point where I’m not sure it’s closed securely. It takes a large load & I'm sure the towels & bedding will be dried quicker than before.

    So far so good

Early days but seems well made, fairly quiet and easy to maintain. Happy so far!

    Dryer

For me personally I love it because it is a lot more high tech than my old dryer. Yes it can take a bit long because the average time is 2 and a half hours (that’s why one star is minus). But it has a tube that goes out the back so no more emptying the condensation tray I love this feature and wish all dryers had it. I also like how it tells me how long is left. What needs improving is the amount of time this dryer takes.

    Amazing dryer

    5/5
Absolutely wonderful product. I’ve had a condenser dryer for 6 years and only recently needed to change it. I bought this as I have the same brand washing machine and fridge and both are brilliant. I am certainly not disappointed with the dryer .. it’s amazing.. I would recommend 100%

    Better than expected

Really good. Much quieter than similar ones we had. Nice design and great delivery / service. I would recommend.

    Great tumble

    5/5
Quiet, efficient and looks fairly unoffensive for a tumble dryer. Easy to use with large drum and no need for a vent! Costs a little more than condenser/vented dryers however it uses less energy and is easier to install. Just use the drainage pipe from the washing machine (with a Y pipe if needed) to drain the water and there's very little maintenance required.
