I was hesitant to buy this Washer Dryer, mainly because I have horrifying memories of the nightmare Washer Dryers I’ve had in the past and I’ve been used to using a separate washer and condenser dryer for a while, but also because of the mixed reviews. I didn’t like the machine when I first got it, I thought it only had 2 main dryer settings and a woop dry. I was incorrect and further navigation fixed my woes. You can set it to sensor dry using the settings or you can set it to do a timed dry. There is also the option of cupboard, iron or extra dry. The many features of this machine are hidden behind some basic symbols. I’ve taken to using the app, which is actually pretty amazing once you get used to it! My previous dryer was far too much hassle to use via the app as it was Bluetooth based and disconnected all the time, you had to be sat with it almost for it to work - not the case with this hoover - I get notifications when I am out to let me know the washing / drying has finished. There’s so many more features when using the app, definitely give it a go! When loading the washer fully if you use pods I’d recommend using 3 pods for a full load. A lot of people don’t think to do this, but one pod is for 4-5kg of washing, so a full 14kg requires 3. This will ensure your washing is fully clean as well as smelling clean. I’ve also noticed a massive difference in my daily electric usage - it’s gone down since buying the Hoover Washer Dryer. I am not sure if the dryer is a condenser but it’s deadly quiet! What I do is I use the washer as a washer then go through the laundry, pull it out give it a jumble and set it off in the dryer - I don’t advise to use the wash and then immediate dry unless you’re happy ironing lots as it causes creases. I also find it drys better if you do the wash and dry separately. I am extremely impressed and by dropping down to one machine not only am I saving in space but also money as there is only one Breakdown Plan to pay for! I did get this due to the mixed reviews but also piece of mind so if I do anything incorrectly or the husband overloads it mistakenly etc I will be covered. Overall, what a difference it’s made in the week I’ve had it. Got through so so much laundry in minimal amounts of washes saving money and energy and headaches! Just make sure you read the manual over and over, use the app to get the most from your washer dryer, but it’s doing our family if 2 adults and 1 teenager and 2 young children it’s working very nicely. Take the plunge! Not like the old fashioned washer dryers. I wouldn’t go any smaller than 9kg for a dryer personally and so far we’re doing great! I got £100 knocked off the price for doing a price match, too - so do your research ??

Fantastic product so far, i was reluctant to buy a new produxt from hoover following thr problems with our last one (not from ao.com) and the wireless connectivity is a challenge as I have seen with other reviews but not a necisity. The same can be said for the multiple range of settings but that will come. Overall, I am not disappointed! The large capacity is what i wanted and i am pleased with how quiet it seemed. I had to check it was actually working, it was that quiet to start with, both washing and drying and i love the smart function for adjusting your settings to protect the machine. That was winner for me!

Hoover changed the washer dryer twice. It has a fault.

Very good for a large wash. The dryer seems to take a long time. A bit wary using the 1400 spin, the machine shook forward once. I think the wash must have been uneven, but the machine is supposed to even out the washing. I have used 1400 spin again and it was OK.

What I like the most about this machine: is the volume of its drum. That was a deciding factor. I was really happy to see it can dry 9 kg of laundry (meaning I don’t have to split it after a wash). I don’t normally do huge loads, occasional long bathroom rugs, and blankets. I like this washer so far. It was a bit difficult to unscrew the transportation bolts at the back, as one on the top was different to the rest, and I couldn’t get the part inside (it was stuck), untill I ve unscrewed the whole metal back of the washer and pushed it out, it fell on the floor. It washes well, it’s quiet on high spin. I’m still learning different cycles it can do. I got an App and it shows it has 59 cycles! Have only tried a few. Now the App sends me notifications when my washing is done:) The only downside I want to mention- it has strange slight plastics smell after about half an hour of drying, even on low heat. And the washer gets really hot on the top. I don’t know if it’s normal or not? So I ve registered it with Hoover for 10 years guarantee, to reduce the worry about it. Overall, satisfied with quality of washing and drying, except for the smell during drying. Hope it will disappear after a few uses. Only bought it a week ago.

Only leaving 3 stars for now due to the machine arrived with a fault and had a stroppy uncaring and full of attitude representative from Hoover who was obstructive about me getting a replacement machine - expecting me to wait 3 weeks for an engineer to see what the fault was. Thankfully AO and I managed to reason with the rep and I got a new machine. Nice big drum and so far settings which can be adjusted. I will adjust the rating depending on how it performs over the next few months

Was really hoping to use this for years to come. Used twice and the second time the dryer stopped working. E11 fault code which meant dryer sensor issue. Thought I’d give AO/Hoover a chance to fix it so arranged an engineer. 1 hour into 2 hour wait time (I took the afternoon off work) I received a text from Hoover to state they couldn’t fulfill my request as they couldn’t find my address. Pffft!! Called again and wanted me to wait another week to arrange an engineer to fix what is essentially a brand new machine, which I have refused. I am now awaiting an AEG to come into stock to replace this. With all this said I cannot fault the service I have received from AO so far. Let’s hope they keep to their word and replace this machine without a hitch.

Amazing. So many settings you're not sure which one to choose and the manual saying the drying buttons are the pre wash buttons but on the whole great big machine, really impressed.
